Jason J. Sgro
President

Leading NH’s largest dedicated municipal incident response team, Jason serves as Sr. Partner, Business Strategy, and Head of Cyber Defense Services at The ATOM Group, headquartered in Portsmouth, NH.  He is also the Chairman and Founder of the Overwatch Foundation, a 501c3 not-for-profit company that defends critical infrastructure and key resources in the region. A lifelong native of New Hampshire, Jason is a strategist at heart, comprised of equal parts speaker, evangelist, coach, and operator.  He has secured and advised public and private entities throughout New Hampshire and is widely recognized for his contributions toward building a future we can trust.

Christopher Nadeau
Vice President & Secretary

Chris Nadeau is currently the Vice President of Information Security at Granite Edvance. He is responsible for leading the information security and risk management strategies. Chris is a military veteran trained in global intelligence-gathering, cryptology, and electronic warfare. Chris has served in various information security and technology leadership roles for more than 25 years in the technology, manufacturing, and financial service industries. Chris holds a Bachelor’s in Information Technology, is a Certified Information Security Professional, and is a recent graduate of the Carnegie Melon CISO Executive Education Program.

Jonathon Sweeney
Treasurer

Jonathon Sweeney is currently working as a senior cybersecurity engineer in New Hampshire, and serving as the NH Infragard Treasurer. With a passion for serving the community, Jonathon began working in emergency medical services in Wilton, NH as an EMT, before transitioning to a career in cybersecurity. He has a special interest in open source intelligence and helping the community stay secure through the safe use of technology. With an A.S. in Computer Networking from Nashua Community College, Jonathon is currently studying criminal intelligence analysis at Utica University. He enjoys working with the community as a volunteer at organizations such as DKMS, Souhegan Valley Boys & Girls Club, and others, and has enjoyed living as a NH resident for more than 25 years.

Geoff Ness
Board Member

Founder and CEO of one of NH’s leading IT managed service providers, Geoffrey Ness brings a security-first approach to technology strategy. Having consulted and supported both private and public sectors nationwide, he understands the dynamic and complex role that technology plays in protecting critical systems and services. Geoff brings nearly a decade of board leadership serving on healthcare and educational institution governing boards.

Patrick DeShazo
Board Member

Patrick DeShazo is currently a senior principal cybersecurity engineer he previously was the Department Manager for the Cyber Assessments Department. He has 42 years of experience with 37 years at MITRE.  Of his time at MITRE, 20 years has been in cybersecurity.  Patrick has worked on projects across the Federal Government to include all of DoD.  His earliest work was in the Nuclear Command and Control arena, and he has extensive experience working for the Combatant Commands in operations and networking.  Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from Boston University.

Greg Siegenthaler
Board Member

Greg is currently the IT Director for the Pease Development Authority and has been in the IT sector for more than 20 years. When he doesn't have his nose buried in security bulletins, he likes to go mountain biking, hiking with his family, and ride his Triumph around the seacoast.

Bill Schenkelberg
National Board Member & Past President

Bill Schenkelberg began his public safety career in 1979 in a large suburb of Cleveland, Ohio.   This initiated a 30 + year career in public safety, law enforcement, and intelligence collection, including the U.S. Coast Guard Criminal Investigative Service, and the Food and Drug Administration Office of Criminal Investigations and Office of Internal Affairs.   Bill retired from federal service in June of 2011 as a CGIS Special Agent in Charge, Boston MA.   

After federal service, Bill was chosen to lead the Northeast Ohio Regional Fusion Center (NEORFC) as the Director; a post he held until October 2014.  And from May 2016 to the present, Bill operates as the Managing Director for Operations at Wapack Labs.  Bill has been the President of the Infragard NH Chapter since 2019.  Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Heidelberg College and has studied at Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management, Boston University, U.S. Naval Post Graduate School, and attended a National Security course of study in Nahalal, Israel.
